I wished I could say it was a bright and sunny day, it wasn’t. However, it was a perfect day for a blast with my brother up to Yankee Jim Rd near Forest Hill. Saddle up with Bean and my brother on his GSA 1250. First stop, the Ponderosa Bridge.
And the weather, it was really more whether or not and turned into more, not than other. Yes, we, my brother and I needed a break and chose to take a chance on getting wet. When we started it was cold and grey out, however, it was dry. I was wearing my usual riding attire, flannel-lined jeans, a heavy shirt, and my nice leather jacket. And of course my sneakers.
Yes, I am a dork, notice that my brother is fully decked out and NOT wearing sneakers…LOL, He stayed warm and dry, me not so much. And on that note I did get a new jacket made for this kind of riding, unfortunately, it got to me two days after this ride…
Big Hill Ahead
It has been said that riding a motorcycle is extremely hazardous but great fun. I would just say to that, “DUH” and when you see a big ole hill that is just daring you to take it, you do. I mean who cares that it is wet, slippery, and tight. How far up does it go, let’s find out. Can we make it without crashing, again, lets find out.
